Bay Colony Antiques is proud to offer for sale this fantastic & rare 19th century antique Victorian yellow pine sow belly bakers table. These predate Hoosier cabinets and are really nice to have around the kitchen. The table has four large drawers with the original pull out work tab present. The lower sow belly or possum belly drawers are meant to store flour and other grains with a zinc liner to keep rodents out. The table is crafted from old growth, Southern Yellow Pine and is in great condition with our only condition note being a slight discoloration to the top. The table measures 52 1/4" wide x 28 1/4" deep x 30 1/2" tall. The work tab measures 18 3/4" wide x 24" deep with a height of 22 1/2" at the surface.
