The body is black painted cast iron with a telescoping rod to adjust the height of the stand. The book rests are crafted from oak and finished in a warm golden oak color. The stand is fitted with a pierced mid shelf and is in exceptionally clean condition. These stands can be broken down into components for easy shipping and make a great addition to any collection. Despite nobody owning dictionaries any more these still have a high demand and are very popular in decorating with modern industrial interiors and fantastic use of mixed media with the iron and wood.
