19TH CENTURY ANTIQUE VICTORIAN CARVED OAK DINING ROOM / BANQUET TABLE WITH 6 LEAVES 9.5 + FEET
Thank you for shopping with Bay Colony Antiques. We're a third generation family owned business furnishing homes all over the world. We aggressively pursue important antiques, decorative arts, and objects of interest for our most discerning clients.
With our highest compliments we're proud to offer for sale this exceptional 19th century antique Victorian oak carved dining table. The table has 6 leaves and when fully expanded the table measures 117 1/2" long (over 9.5+ feet). The table is crafted from wonderful bold grain tiger oak finished in a warm golden oak color with one leaf retaining a darker finish. This leaf was never used by the family, it spent most of it's life in the dining room closet. This is a nice square table measuring 46" x 46" closed and stands 31" tall. The runners actuate smoothly and the table has it's original center legs still with it. The base is heavily carved with generous reed carved columns, wooden carved rosettes, and double hairy paw carved feet. The previous owner had modern wheels installed to preserve the wood floor underneath the table. We can leave these in or remove them depending on our end clients request.
