With our highest compliments we're proud to offer for sale this exceptional & clean 19th century antique Victorian oak bookcase. This is absolutely as nice as they come and in wonderful estate fresh condition. This single door bookcase is crafted from quarter sawn or tiger oak with nice rays and specks present in the grain. The bookcase is decorated with double recessed panel sides, a carved and scrolled gallery, incised carved feet and stiles, and original stamped Victorian hardware. The cabinet retains it's original wavy glass with very desirable heavy rippling that doesn't translate well in the photos. The bookcase measures 34" wide x 15" deep x 61 1/4" tall. The interior has a usable depth of 9 1/2" and the height at the top surface is 52 1/2" tall.
