With our highest compliments we're proud to offer for sale this exceptional antique tiger maple New England four drawer chest. This chest has very heavy figuring and is finished in a nice warm maple color. The chest is defined by recessed panel sides, fully formed columns, & a series of large graduated drawers. This chest retains it's original gallery & stands on turned feet. This is a nice pure New England dresser with hand cut dovetail drawers, chamfered bottoms & shield carved escutcheons. The drawer faces are solid tiger maple so no need to worry about veneer issues or being too rough on the case. This early 19th century chest was built to last a lifetime and it's done that a couple times over and is ready to be enjoyed for many more years to come.
