Bay Colony Antiques is proud to offer for sale this wonderful early 19th century Antique Queen Anne Connecticut Cherry candle stand. The table has a nearly square top measuring 14 7/8” wide x 15 1/2” deep. The turned column is well executed with a nice bulbous base and interesting transition into the pedestal. The legs are dovetailed into the column and have great raised knees and dramatic curves. The stand is in very good condition with our only notes being minor surface wear, a slight warp to the top, and an old repair to the base covered with a shellac fill that can be best seen in our standalone picture of the leg. The stand has a roughly 20” diameter at the base and is 26 1/8” tall.
