19TH CENTURY ANTIQUE NEW YORK CHERRY DROP LEAF COUNTRY PRIMITIVE FARM TABLE
Thank you for shopping with Bay Colony Antiques. We're a third generation family owned business furnishing homes all over the world. We aggressively pursue important antiques, decorative arts, and objects of interest for our most discerning clients.
We're delighted to offer for sale this fantastic New York state cherry drop leaf farm table. This table features an unusual cherry sapwood grain finished in a warm golden amber color. We enjoy country furniture for it's individuality. In a large cabinet shop tables were meticulously produced following rules of scale and following a pre existing blueprint. With country pieces there's a lot of originality & character. Mahogany would be expensive in & outside of major cities & impractical for this use so a local wood was used. The table has squared off legs indicative of it's region and the leg terminates in a nice simple turning pattern. We don't have the sizes at the moment and will amend the listing with sizes shortly. Please feel free to send us a message if you catch us before this is updated and we'll be sure to send the sizes right over to you.
