19TH CENTURY ANTIQUE VICTORIAN INDUSTRIAL OAK TYPE MAKERS FILE / MAP FILE CABINET
With our highest compliments we're proud to offer for sale this exceptional 19th century antique Victorian flat file cabinet. We try to always have one or two of these in stock but they're becoming increasingly difficult to obtain as people aren't very eager to part with them. This fantastic 15 drawer example is crafted from quartersawn oak finished in a medium golden oak color. These cabinets were generally industrial pieces and more often than not are quite plain without embellishments. This example has a great egg & dart carving along the crown and at the base which really helps to define this example and place it on that "better - best" tier. This is a massive cabinet measuring 36" wide x 31 1/2" deep x 64" tall.. The cabinet is in good condition with minor age expected surface wear.
