19TH CENTURY ANTIQUE HAVANA TOBACCO MIRRORED ADVERTISING SIGN IN EMPIRE MAHOGANY FRAME
Thank you for shopping with Bay Colony Antiques. We're a third generation family owned business furnishing homes all over the world. We aggressively pursue important antiques, decorative arts, and objects of interest for our most discerning clients.
We're pleased to offer for sale this wonderful 19th century antique Havana Tobacco mirrored advertising sign in American Empire frame. Havana has a rich history and in the early - mid 18th century it was the third largest city in the Americas trailing Lima, Peru & Mexico City, Mexico. In 1818 Spain opened Cuban ports to trade internationally and trade flourished especially with the newly independent United States. Cuba's most profitable exports were sugar, tobacco, mahogany, coffee, fruits & much more. This is a larger sign & frame about 2 feet x 4 feet but we don't have the exact dimensions on hand. If you require immediate assistance before the listing is updated please send us a message and we'll be sure to send them right over. We deeply apologize for not having the sizes on a few items. We move so fast and have about 4 dozen new items waiting to be listed on top of everything going out the door and if we don't list it now it can easily get buried in the warehouse and influx of new items.
