Bay Colony Antiques is proud to offer for sale this fantastic early 19th century antique Federal period Tiger Maple candle stand. The stand has an urn shaped baluster with a near square top with cut out corners. The top measures 15 3/4” wide x 16 1/8 deep. Heavy flake Curly Maple was used for the top and the finish is good condition with the only exception being a portion of a black ring mark on the top. The legs are dovetailed into the column, and they’re also made from figured Maple with interesting grain patterns. The stand was made CA 1820/1830 in New England and would make a great addition to any home. The base measures 19 1/2” wide x 17 1/2” deep and the table is 27 1/2” tall.
