Bay Colony Antiques is excited to offer for sale this outstanding 19th century antique southern walnut Federal period folk art spice box / cabinet. The cabinet has 7 half columns with acorn finials and is nicely inlaid along the top with a variegated design and inlaid on the sides with 5 pointed stars. The top two drawers are fitted with their original locks but this didn’t come to us with a key. The cabinet is in wonderful condition with our only notes being minor surface wear and an old repair to the top left corner. The cabinet measures 31 1/4” wide x 12 1/2” deep x 11 1/2” tall. The drawers have useable dimensions of 11 1/4” wide x 9” deep x 3 3/4” tall.
