Bay Colony Antiques is proud to offer for sale this fantastic 19th century antique Federal period Mahogany mirror. Most mirrors in this form have either a reverse painted panel or another mirror over the main looking glass. This mirror has a stunning crotch Mahogany panel at the top and we imagine a lot fewer of these were made because we don’t encounter them too often. The mirror is in wonderful condition with our only notes being a slight warp to the upper panel and minor age spots on the mirror but nothing that would obstruct use. The mirror measures 19 3/4” wide x 38” tall x 2 1/2” deep. The glass alone measures 13 3/4” wide x 24 1/4” tall.
