Bay Colony Antiques is pleased to offer for sale this wonderful 19th century antique Sheraton fancy paint 1 drawer wash stand. The stand is in its original yellow paint surface with green accents and a stenciled arrangement of fruit and vegetation on the crest. Before homes were fitted with running water a wash stand was a nice luxury to have in the home. The part with the circle cut out is meant to house a porcelain bowl and the lower drawer would have held toiletries and perfume. This is a nice diminutive stand measuring 17” wide x 14” deep x 38 1/4” tall.
