Bay Colony Antiques is pleased to offer you this fine 18th Century Pennsylvania Queen Anne period tavern table in old original red paint finish. This is the true and correct York County Pa. pine specimen with the removable pegged fasten top that allowed the table to be moved around a room with greater ease. The top fastens to the table frame with four wooden pegs. It employs proud peg joinery, nice cleats, splayed leg base and a 4 board top. It is outfitted with a deep center drawer with desirable old gnawings from a mouse (not some later reproduced look showing tool mark evidence-yes they actually fake these things sadly). This is a true & correct York County Pa. 18th Century Queen Anne period American primitive masterpiece of furniture that measures 54" long, 37 1/2" wide and 28" tall.
