Bay Colony Antiques is extremely proud to offer for sale this exceptional 18th century antique Federal period Vermont 2 drawer painted work table. These are rarer than hens teeth and while they may not seem as meticulously crafted as a piece from Boston or Philadelphia they’re extremely scarce and very desirable. The work table is completely undisturbed with it’s original sponge paint decoration on the sides & back and brown paint on the drawer faces and the top. The drawers are constructed with hand cut dovetails and they both retain their original “nautical bone” pulls. The table measures 19 1/2” wide x 18” deep x 29” tall and is an important piece of Americana and Vermont history.
