IMPORTANT 17TH CENTURY WILLIAM & MARY SIDEBOARD IN OAK AND YEW

With our most sincere compliments we are honored to offer you this remarkable late 17th century English George III period William & Mary sideboard cabinet. It is over 300 years old signed "R. Miller & Sons". This amazing cabinet has a four raised paneled double door cabinet over 2 short drawers over a large full sized base drawer. The case is made of oak with yew wood upright styles and wainscot paneled side cases. The case is entirely pegged joined with a four paneled back that is a case study in 17th century joinery. All the panels are deeply hand chamfered. There isn't a screw or nail joining the main case. Its base and legs have been entirely restored. They were made of pine and that material simply disintegrated over the last three centuries. The work performed was done using all old salvaged woods and the highest quality. It possesses a new interior fitted with adjustable shelves. Its a restoration far exceeding the price of the piece. Your benefit! Anytime we can offer 17th century its very special. It is 56 1/2" long, 22 1/4" wide and 45 3/4" tall.
