RARE FORMED 18TH CENTURY QUEEN ANNE PERIOD SIDE CHAIR
With our compliments we are delighted to offer you this very choice 18th century Queen Anne period sidechair. This colonial New England specimen possesses a wonderfully formed Yoke back crest, button feet, turned finials, double wrung base stretchers & an applewood hand carved vasal formed back splat divided with green graining. Nicely peg fastened with an early 20th century restored rush seat. Its button feet have mostly survived 250 years with some loss to its right leg. Without its button feet its just another ended out chair. This is special! We additionally note a restoration to it right handed upright. It was a clean break correctly addressed & wholly considered in this great price. An American gem from a wonderful period American chair collection it measures 19' wide, 14" deep, 39 1/2" tall with a 15" seat height.
