Bay Colony Antiques is delighted to offer for sale this fantastic 19th century antique Sheraton fancy paint wash stand. We purchased this from a lovely Long Island home where it was cherished by two long time collectors for many years. They recently purchased a replacement washstand from us that was made in Long Island, and they were willing to part with this stand as long as we promised to find it a good home. The stand has a beautiful yellow fancy paint surface with a nice stenciled decoration. The stand has a shaped gallery and a single drawer at the base. The stand is in great condition with our only notes being minor surface wear and an old age split to the right of the basin. The stand measures 21” wide x 14 1/4” deep x 36 3/4” tall. The diameter of the opening for the basin is 9”.
