With our highest compliments and utmost honors, Bay Colony Antiques is proud to offer for sale this fantastic early 20th century antique Art Deco fishbowl stand. True Art Deco stands like this are becoming increasingly harder to find. We take in about a dozen estates every month and have contacts all around the country sourcing for us. Even with our immense volume we’re lucky to find 3 or 4 of these a year. The body of the stand has four pointed flowers that hold the bowl in place. The base of the stand has a super Art Deco skyscraper design, and the paint appears to be original. The stand has developed a nice patina over the years with only light rust spots & a desirable alligatoring effect present. The bowl itself does have some age but the real gem in this listing is the stand. The stand is in wonderful condition with our only notes being the wear to the paint. The base measures 9 1/4” wide x 9 1/4” deep. The overall dimensions of the stand are 12” wide x 7 1/2” deep x 33 1/2” tall.
