Bay Colony Antiques is proud to offer for sale this fantastic 19th century antique Victorian Tiger Oak double door bookcase. The bookcase is made from Quarter Sawn Oak with vibrant rays and flecks present in the grain. The cabinet is finished in a warm Amber Oak color, and it is in exceptional condition with our only notes being very minor surface wear. The cabinet retains its original wavy glass doors that open to reveal a split interior with 3 shelves on each side. The shelves have 18 different height adjustments to accommodate a library of varying sizes. The interior of each side has useable dimensions of 22 1/2” wide x 11” deep x 40” tall. The bookcase is wider than it is tall which is kind of unusual and the top has some fantastic Tiger Oak grain. The bookcase measures 47 1/2” wide x 14” deep x 46” tall.
