Bay Colony Antiques is proud to offer for sale this fantastic 19th century antique Mahogany Empire parlor table. The table has a large circular Onyx top with a raised edge commonly referred to as a dish top. The table has crotch Mahogany veneers surrounding the apron with a molded edge at the bottom. The tabletop rests on a tripod base with generously proportioned legs with shallow carvings on the side profiles and carved lion paw feet. The table is in very good condition with our only notes being minor surface wear to the onyx top & a few inconsequential veneer chips towards the base that we'll ask our restorer to address. The table is quite large with a 38 5/8” diameter and is 28 3/4” tall.
