Bay Colony Antiques is proud to offer for sale this fantastic 18th century antique Chippendale Cherry chest. We’re always in the market for Chippendale case furniture, but we hold high standards for our purchases and what we offer our clients. This semi tall chest has 5 graduated drawers and a well-defined cornice. The top of the chest showcases a series of hand cut dovetails and there are another set of exposed dovetails at the feet. The chest was meticulously refinished and has been well maintained throughout its life. The chest is in very good condition with our only notes being the hardware has been replaced and there are a couple of well-done repairs to the drawer faces. The chest measures 39 1/2” wide x 20 1/2” deep x 49 1/2” tall.
