18TH CENTURY WILLIAM & MARY PERIOD ANTIQUE DROP LEAF TAVERN TABLE
We are pleased to offer you this very attractive 18th century William & Mary period New England Tavern Table. This is a very well formed table with nicely turned legs, peg fastening with a wonderful very low situated base H stretcher demonstrating great wear over the last 250 years. It is in its original finish and otherwise fantastic. We note one of the leaves was replaced a very long time ago. We did not mind that based on the price & the savings we will pass along to you. Normally we would have tossed this into the auction stream where the issues with pieces are exactly why its being sold in some dimly lighted auction gallery. Collectors full well know the value of these. This a fraction of that. The table measures 28" wide x 44" long x 27 1/2" tall. When the leaves are locked open the width goes from 28" to 50".
