Bay Colony Antiques is proud to offer for sale this fantastic 19th century antique Federal period tilt top candle stand. The stand has a substantial & robust turned column with three spider legs free of any breaks and repairs. The stand has an attractive cut of Cherry used for the top with ovolo corners and the original brass locking mechanism. The stand is in wonderful condition with our only notes being a small candle burn to the top and minimal surface wear. The stand measures 16 1/2” wide x 15 1/2” deep x 37 1/2” tall. When the top is flipped down the top measures 16 1/2” wide x 19 1/4” deep x 27 1/2” tall.
