Bay Colony Antiques is delighted to offer for sale this wonderful 20th century carved and painted duck decoy. The decoy has a white breast, grey back, and brown head with a green bill. This is a true hunting decoy and there’s an impression on the underside where the weighter was. The decoy has glass eyes and is in good condition with our only notes being it was likely repainted and there’s an old repair on the head. We purchased this from central MA home alongside a number of other carved and painted shorebirds. The decoy measures 13 1/4” wide from bill to tail x 5 1/8” deep x 5 3/4” tall.
